Welcome to my online portfolio.
My name´s Alvaro Casanova (a.k.a Yeahstyle) and I´m a self-taught freelance graphic/web designer based in Santiago de Chile.
I love designing and hand-coding standard compliant websites using XHTML and CSS. I also understand server side programming (PHP and MySQL) and Javascript/DOM.
I've been working on interface design and illustrations for applications on different mobiles phones (iPhone, Sidekick, Android).

Bienvenidos a mi portfolio.
Mi nombre es Alvaro Casanova (alias Yeahstyle), soy diseñador gráfico y web freelance radicado en Santiago de Chile.
Amo diseñar páginas web y codificarlas a mano en XHTML y CSS de manera que cumplan con los estándares establecidos por la W3C. También tengo conocimientos de programación y manejo de bases de datos (CMS con PHP y MySQL) y Javascript (DOM).
He trabajado ilustrando y diseñando interfaces para aplicaciones para móviles Sidekick, iPhone y la plataforma Android.

11/11 | WHAT I'M UP TO
I've finally finished my baby project! A custom CMS for Larva Labs and their website redesign (with PHP and MySQL). It's going live pretty soon, stay tuned!
Now I'm starting to learn objective C and Object Oriented Programming. I can see a lot of headaches coming my way :]
Btw... I'm gonna be off on vacation from January 1st till February 20th. I'm booking projects for March!
